Lindeth Tower sits on the southern fringe of the village of Silverdale, nestling on the Lancashire coastline of Morecambe Bay.
The village is quiet and peaceful, yet enjoys easy access to the main transport networks, with the M6 motorway and the west coast mainline being just a few minutes away.
The Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is widely regarded as one of England's finest landscapes, and is especially noted for its spectacular limestone pavements, ancient woodlands and meadows, and its impressive coastline.
The Leighton Moss RSPB Reserve is just a mile from the Tower, making this one of the UK's prime bird watching areas.
Just as close lie the Myers Allotment Butterfly Conservation Reserve, recognised as one of Britain's leading butterfly conservation areas, and the Gait Barrows National Nature Reserve - home to the rare Ladies Slipper Orchid.
The Tower makes a perfect stopover for cyclists riding the stunning 81 mile Morecambe Bay Cycle Way. The Tower sits right on the route about 20 miles from the start/finish at Glasson Dock, and is just a ten minute pedal from Silverdale Railway Station which provides rail links to both ends of the route. We have a secure garage to keep your bikes safe and dry, and a hosepipe if you need to clean them.
Coastal and inland footpaths are plentiful, with routes and terrain suitable for all abilities and weather conditions.
If a round of golf is your thing, then just a mile away you'll find Silverdale Golf Club where visitors are always welcome to play the 18 hole, par 70, 5654 yard course.
For refreshment, the area enjoys a good selection of country pubs, restaurants, and cafes, serving up a wide range of excellent food and beverages. The Wolfhouse Kitchen, just a hundred yards from the Tower, is particularly noted for serving up homegrown, locally sourced, exciting and sometimes quirky food.
